Chicken Recipe: Air Fryer Chicken Breasts

This recipe allows you to use an air fryer to prepare a delectable dish of succulent chicken coated in garlic, sweet paprika, and herbs. Feel free to experiment with different spices to add variety, or keep it simple if you prefer.

4 chicken breasts
½ tbsp rapeseed oil
1 tsp salt
1 ½ tsp garlic granules
1 tsp smoked sweet paprika
2 tsp mixed herbs
½ tsp pepper
Steamed rice and greens such as broccoli or green beans or a green salad, to serve (optional)

First, coat the chicken in the oil and set it aside. Next, in a bowl, combine the salt, garlic, paprika, and mixed herbs with a generous amount of black pepper. Then, evenly spread the mixture onto a plate.

Coat each oiled chicken piece in the seasoned before placing them in the air fryer basket. Cook at 180°C for 18-20 minutes, remembering to turn them over halfway through the cooking time. To ensure the chicken is thoroughly cooked, pierce the thickest part with a knife to check if the juices run clear. Alternatively, use a temperature thermometer to confirm the internal temperature reaches 70°C. Serve the cooked chicken with a side of rice and vegetables or a fresh salad for a delicious and satisfying meal.
